DGI/DZIF Joint Annual Meeting

The Global AMR R&D Hub was honored to participate in the DGI/DZIF Joint Annual Meeting, held from February 13–15, 2025, in Munich.

This key event, co-hosted by the German Society for Infectious Diseases (DGI) and the German Center for Infection Research (DZIF), brought together leading experts to discuss the latest developments in infectious disease research.

Usha Lamichane from the Global AMR R&D Hub team attended the meeting, engaging in insightful discussions on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and innovative approaches to tackling infectious diseases. The event featured an expanded program with a dedicated track on clinical practice, addressing crucial topics such as post-infectious syndromes, gender-specific susceptibility, and phage therapy.

The conference provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaborations, and reinforce the importance of a global, coordinated response to AMR. We extend our gratitude to DGI, DZIF, and all participants for an inspiring and productive meeting.
