H20 SUMMIT 2025

The Hub was pleased to participate in the G20 & G7 Health and Development Partnership’s H20 Summit on the 19-20th June in Geneva, where antimicrobial resistance (AMR) was a key focus.

The AMR panel session, expertly chaired by Sujith J. Chandy of the International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS), centered on sustaining momentum and addressing gaps ahead of the 5th Ministerial in 2026.

The dialogue also connected key global commitments, including the UNGA Political Declaration, The Jeddah Commitments, and the establishment of the Independent Panel for Evidence for Action Against AMR.

Key themes included:

  • Prevention

  • Equitable access

  • Sustainable research and development

  • Data and evidence as foundations for AMR policymaking

The energy and commitment were high, underscoring the importance of continued collaboration to maximise impact through the integration of policy, evidence, and partnerships.
