SECURE Operational Meeting

On June 26-27, Suzanne Edwards (Hub Economist & Programme Officer) represented the Global AMR R&D Hub at the SECURE operational meeting in Geneva, a collaborative initiative by Global Antibiotic R&D Partnership (GARDP) and the World Health Organization.

SECURE aims to expand access to essential antibiotics, including those in short supply or not widely available, as well as newly approved “reserve” antibiotics for drug-resistant bacterial infections.

SECURE provides a crucial platform to generate ideas that will inform actionable policies. We at the Hub highly commend this initiative and look forward to future meetings and progress.
