South Africa Joins the Global AMR R&D Hub
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a severe global health challenge and is a critical issue in South Africa. In 2019 alone, AMR was associated with over 39,000 deaths in the country and is widely perceived by health professionals as a serious national problem.
We are delighted to welcome South Africa to the Board of Members at the Global AMR R&D Hub and look forward to working with them to make an impact against AMR, now and in the future
