Impact Snapshot 2024
Since the global call to action in 2017, the Hub has been steadfast in fulfilling its mandate to enhance co-operation and collaboration in and strengthen AMR research and development, reducing duplicative efforts and efficient allocation of resources.
Our key achievements include:
–Building a unique foundation of knowledge that spans the push-and-pull spectrum of AMR R&D
–Encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing through working groups, member engagement, knowledge reports and policy briefs
–Advocating for action at the highest political levels, including the G20 and G7
This multi-pronged approach is laying the groundwork for stronger, more coordinated global efforts to tackle AMR.
The Dynamic Dashboard remains our flagship resource. It is the world’s most comprehensive database on investments in public and philanthropic AMR R&D, featuring (as at 28th November 2024):
– Investment data on over 16,000 projects worth $14.4 billion
– Pipeline data on antibacterial & bacterial vaccine development from WHO
– A new and updated overview of incentives across the value chain for supporting the development of new antibacterials, including a country-specific view of pull incentives
Our working groups on One Health AMR and Pull Incentives are providing informal platforms for exchanging information and sharing lessons on funding and incentive models.
These resources are complemented by the collective contributions of you our members and observers, as well as our stakeholders.
