AMR Snapshots: Edition 4 with Dame Sally Davies

30.05.2022: The AMR Snapshots interview series is a quick, but deep dive into the key challenges we are facing in antimicrobial resistance (AMR), exploring the topic from a variety of different perspectives and featuring key leaders in the field. We were honoured to have had the opportunity to interview Dame Sally Davies in the fourth edition of this series in May, while the G7 Health and Finance Ministers were meeting in Germany. Incentivising the development of new antibacterial treatments: Progress report by the Global AMR R&D Hub and WHO

Following the call to action in December 2021 under the UK’s G7 Presidency, the Global AMR R&D Hub and WHO submitted a joint progress report on actions to incentivise the development of new antibacterial treatments to the G7 Health and Finance ministers. Access the report and read more here.

13.05.2022: The German Network against Antimicrobial Resistance (Deutsches Netzwerk gegen Antimikrobielle Resistenzen – DNAMR), which the Global AMR R&D Hub is a member of, just published a press release underlining the importance of a collaborative approach between research, development and the private sector when addressing AMR.
