From 23–24 March 2026, WOAH and the OECD co-hosted the High-Level Dialogue Forum in Paris, highlighting the importance of investment, strong partnerships, effective policies, and clear communication in turning antimicrobial resistance (AMR) strategies into real-world impact.
The event explored how AMR action can also support wider global priorities such as climate resilience, economic stability, and pandemic preparedness.
The Global AMR R&D Hub was pleased to attend, represented by Usha Lamichhane, who contributed to discussions on keeping AMR high on the global agenda. A clear message throughout the forum was that animal, human, and environmental health are closely connected, and coordinated One Health action remains essential.
