Monitoring & Evaluation
The work of the Global AMR R&D Hub is subject to a continuous external evaluation to monitor progress towards its objectives. The Public Policy and Management Institute (PPMI) based in Vilnius, Lithuania was selected to conduct the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) process which will result in several reports.
We are pleased to share the Inception Report which details the methodological approach and key evaluation questions, including information on data sources and collection, key challenges and mitigation strategies. You can find the Inception Report here.
The Baseline Report provides an overview and assessment of the situation of the AMR R&D field prior to the establishment of the Global AMR R&D Hub (2018), and includes defined key aspects and indicators to support monitoring of the progress on the achievement of the Hub’s objectives. You can find the report here.
The case study replaces the initially planned progress report and assess the impact of COVID-19 on the work of the Hub at two levels – operational (short-term objectives of the Hub) and strategic (more long-term objectives of the Hub).
The Final Evaluation Report was published in July 2021 and presents the final results of the external evaluation of the Global AMR R&D Hub’s performance during the first three years of its operation. The main objective of this external evaluation was to monitor progress towards the Hub's objectives, and inform as well as guide any necessary changes to the Hub for this period in line with its Terms of Reference.
