Usha Lamichhane
Scientific Programme Officer
Usha Lamichhane is a Scientific Programme Officer at the Global AMR R&D Hub. She has a background in Biochemical Engineering and Molecular Life Sciences and experience in antimicrobial resistance research, including contributing to initiatives aimed at revitalising the antibacterial research and development pipeline and addressing gaps in the development of new treatments for drug-resistant infections. She specialised in International Public Health at the Institute of Tropical Medicine and International Health, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, with training in epidemiology, tropical medicine, health economics, and public health programme design and evaluation. Combining a scientific background with public health training, Usha is committed to addressing the growing threat of AMR through evidence-informed policy and international collaboration.
