Dr. Lesley Ogilvie, Interim Secretariat Lead of the Global Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Research and Development (R&D) Hub, gave a presentation at a digital conference hosted by Informa Connect on the 2nd of November titled Act now: incentives & strategies to drive innovation in the AMR market.

The session was titled Supporting evidence-based decision making across the AMR research and development value chain and explored the following:

  • What is the current state of public funding for AMR R&D globally?
  • Is this funding being translated into products that mitigate AMR?
  • What are governments doing to incentivize development and access to priority antimicrobials?
