Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the Secretariat is based in Berlin, Germany. It administratively belongs to the German Center for Infection Research (DZIF).
Global AMR R&D Hub Secretariat
The Global AMR R&D Hub Secretariat is responsible for the operative and administrative planning and implementation of the Global AMR R&D Hub’s activities. The secretariat staff manages the day-to-day operations of the Hub and the development and implementation of policies and procedures approved by the Board of Members.

Board of Members
The Global AMR R&D Hub is steered by a Board of Members. All Members and Observers (not voting) have a seat on the Board.
The Board elects a chair and a vice-chair. They should come from different regions of the world. Their term of office is two years. The Board of Members meets face-to-face at least once a year, holds teleconferences in between and communicates through electronic means.
