G20 – 3rd Health Working Group Meeting, Hyderabad, India

The G20 3rd Health Working Group Meeting in Hyderabad, India took place from the 4th to the 6th of June. The Global Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Research and Development (R&D) Hub was delighted to be able to attend and contribute to proceedings and discussions.

Discussions focussed on the key priorities of the G20 Health Track covering pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response, One Health, AMR, and digital innovation, as well as strengthening global collaboration on R&D for medical countermeasures like vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics.

The Global AMR R&D Hub was very grateful for the opportunity to be part of the discussions at the G20 3rd Health Working Group meeting and strongly believes AMR should be part of any crisis-mode planning.
